The College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Holds a Virtual Workshop Introducing the Bologna Process
The College of Political Science at the University of Mosul held a virtual workshop on the Bologna Process, the European framework for higher education, on Tuesday and Wednesday, 3-4 December 2024.
On the first day, the guest speaker was Dr. Joanna White, whose lecture focused on how to unify academic systems, enhance mobility, and ensure quality assurance. The discussion also addressed mechanisms for facilitating the recognition of degrees among member states, thereby boosting competitiveness and integration. The possibility of transferring this European experience to the University of Mosul was also explored.
On the second day, Dr. Sonia Miska was hosted, providing insights into the practical aspects of the Bologna Process.
The workshop was held under the patronage and attendance of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Tarek Mohammed Tayeb Thaher. It was also attended by the Vice Deans for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, along with the teaching staff.
