College of Political Sciences

On Thursday, 23 January 2025, the President of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, Nineveh Branch, Assistant Professor Dr. Basel Khalaf Hamoud, paid a visit to the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul. He was received by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Tareq Mohammed Tayeb Thaher.

The visit aimed to strengthen coordination and cooperation between the college and the syndicate. Discussions also addressed the importance of activating the role of faculty members and academics in achieving intellectual and political development by engaging with institutions and community organizations. Additionally, the need to produce high-quality scientific research was emphasized, as it would enhance the status and ranking of both the college and the university while also contributing to the analysis of current political issues. This, in turn, would provide scientific solutions to support decision-making at both the local and national levels. The visit was also attended by the heads of the Media and Administration divisions.
