The International Relations Department at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, Holds a Student Guidance Meeting on the Negative Impact of Digital Addiction

The International Relations Department at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, held a student guidance meeting titled “Digital Addiction and Its Impact on the Health and Behavior of University Students” on Thursday, 30 January 2025. The session was presented by the department’s rapporteur, Lecturer Dr. Rasha Suhail Mohammed.

The meeting aimed to shed light on the psychological and social risks of digital addiction and its impact on students’ academic performance and overall health. It also highlighted the dangers of excessive use of social media and electronic games. The discussion addressed the negative consequences of this behavior, including lack of concentration, academic decline, social isolation, sleep disorders, and more.

The event was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit, and was specifically targeted at fourth-year students.
