College of Political Sciences

The guidance course titled “Unemployment and its Impacts on the Individual and Society” at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, concluded on Thursday, 6 February 2025. On the mentioned day, three lectures were delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Saadi Ibrahim Hussein, Lecturer Dr. Kawthar Hassan Ghazi, and Lecturer Dr. Zainab Adel Marai.

The course, which lasted for five consecutive days, aimed to raise awareness about the dangers and negative effects of unemployment by analyzing its causes and exploring ways to reduce it. It also aimed to enhance students’ critical thinking skills and develop innovative solutions to challenges related to the labor market, with a focus on the importance of developing personal and professional skills to meet the demands of the modern economic environment.

The course was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College and was part of the activities of the Psychological and Educational Guidance Unit, targeting students.
