The President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, chaired the eleventh meeting of the College of Political Science Council on Sunday, 9 March 2025. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Tareq Mohammed Tayeb Dhahir, along with other council members.

During the meeting, the university president directed the necessity of optimal readiness for implementing the automation system, which the ministry aims to apply in the 2025–2026 academic year. Additionally, emphasis was placed on fulfilling all the requirements for the inclusion of the College Journal in global indexes. Meanwhile, faculty members were encouraged to publish their scientific research in globally recognized repositories to enhance international exposure, benefiting the university, the college, and the researchers themselves. Furthermore, discussions included strategies for sustaining curriculum development to meet the needs of both students and society.

Among the attendees was also the Director of the Scientific Affairs Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhannad Yaqdhan Saleh.
