The College of Political Science Holds a Virtual Meeting with King’s College London to Activate the Scientific Cooperation Agreement

As part of enhancing international academic cooperation and activating the scientific cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and King’s College London in the United Kingdom, the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul held a virtual meeting on Wednesday, 12 March 2025.
The meeting was convened based on the agreement signed between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and King’s College London, in accordance with the directives of the University of Mosul’s presidency. The aim was to discuss the mechanisms for implementing clause (b) of Article III of the agreement, which pertains to student exchange programs for participation in short-term training programs and activities.
The attendees discussed ways to activate the previously signed agreement by enhancing academic cooperation opportunities between both sides, contributing to the development of students’ skills and strengthening their academic expertise.
Representing the College of Political Science, the meeting was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Tariq Mohammed Tayeb, Dean of the College; Assistant Professor Dr. Khairallah Sabhan Al-Jubouri, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs; Lecturer Assistant Nawar Basil Mahfouz, Head of the Scholarships Unit; and Lecturer Assistant Mohammed Saif Al-Din. On behalf of King’s College London, Ms. Eleanor Soult and Dr. Nigel Eddy, Director of the PhD Program at King’s College, participated in the meeting.
This initiative is part of the college’s ongoing efforts to expand international cooperation and enable its students to benefit from global academic experiences at prestigious international universities.
