The Career Development and Employment Unit at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, held its discussion session titled: “The Role of Women in Public Participation and the Decision-Making Process” on Thursday, 13 March 2025.
The session discussed the importance of enhancing women’s public participation in decision-making processes and highlighted the mechanisms of influence and pressure that democracy provides to improve government performance through women’s participation.
The session consisted of three lectures delivered by Dr. Afraa Riyadh Mohammed, Dr. Kawther Hassan Ghazi, and Assistant Lecturer Naba Azaldeen.
The session was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College and falls within the framework of the annual ministerial program approved in this regard.
