College of Political Science, University of Mosul, Announces the Launch of Al-Rafidain Journal for Political Science

Continuing the journey of excellence and progress, and as a step towards supporting scientific research and enhancing academic activity in Iraq, the esteemed Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has approved the establishment of Al-Rafidain Journal for Political Science, issued by the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul. This journal will serve as a distinguished academic platform for publishing research and studies in the field of political science.

The establishment license includes recognizing the journal for academic promotion and other academic activities, effective from Volume (Zero) / Issue (Zero) / January 2024, after its registration in the Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals (IASJ).

The journal aims to attract high-quality research from both inside and outside Iraq, following rigorous scientific standards that ensure quality and innovation. It will also provide a space for academic discussions on political issues, both local and international, contributing to the development of political sciences and strengthening the role of academic institutions in analyzing contemporary issues and shaping future perspectives.

This approval aligns with the Ministry of Higher Education’s efforts to support ambitious scientific projects and encourage academic publishing according to global standards, enhancing the position of Iraqi universities in the regional and international research landscape.

We congratulate our beloved University of Mosul on the inclusion of the College of Political Science’s journal among the university’s scientific journals. We also extend our appreciation to the academic, administrative, and student community of the College of Political Science. We stand in deep gratitude to the unsung heroes who overcame challenges to achieve this noble goal.
