The Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Tariq Mohammed Tayeb Dhahir, chaired a meeting regarding the college journal on Thursday, 27 March 2025.
The meeting emphasized exerting maximum efforts to ensure the timely publication of the first issue of the journal while maintaining the scientific rigor of the published research. Additionally, the scientific and practical mechanisms necessary to achieve these standards were discussed, along with the importance of taking steady and systematic steps to enable the journal to enter global indexing databases such as Scopus. This effort aims to enhance its academic standing and elevate the level of scientific research within the college and the university as a whole.
Among the attendees were the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Khairallah Sabhan Al-Jubouri, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Yassin, in addition to several faculty members.
