The Psychological Counseling Division of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Holds a Guidance Workshop on Students with Special Needs
The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul held a guidance workshop titled: “Students with Special Needs” on Wednesday, 9 April 2025.
The workshop aimed to shed light on the academic, psychological, and social challenges faced by students with special needs, as well as ways to support and empower them within the university environment. It also sought to raise awareness among students and faculty members about appropriate educational and psychological approaches to dealing with this important group.
The workshop consisted of three lectures delivered by the Head of the Division, Lecturer Dr. Shaimaa Nazem Hammoudi, Assistant Lecturer Omnia Ibrahim Khalil, and Assistant Lecturer Naba’ Azzedine.
The workshop was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College, and it is part of the Division’s annual plan, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, targeting the student community.
