College of Political Sciences

The Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul chaired a meeting on Thursday, 10 April 2025, to discuss the provision of requirements for implementing e-learning quality standards.

The importance of the meeting lies in its alignment with the Higher Education and Scientific Research Strategy 2022–2031, and in the implementation of the program aimed at applying e-learning quality standards and enhancing their outcomes in line with the best global standards. This is part of the strategic objective of achieving excellence and ensuring quality and improving the effectiveness of higher education institutions.

The meeting concluded with the necessity of urging all faculty members to prepare the necessary requirements before the beginning of the upcoming academic year 2025–2026 and to direct them to prepare their lectures electronically in accordance with the SCORM standard, as one of the key requirements for implementing this strategy.

The meeting was attended by the Assistant Deans for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, the Heads of Scientific Departments, and the Head of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division.
