College of Political Science Attends a Workshop on Academic Promotions Organized by the Presidency of the University of Mosul
The Central Committee for Academic Promotions at the Presidency of the University of Mosul held a workshop on the launch of the electronic system for academic promotions on Sunday, 20 April 2025. The workshop was attended by representatives of the sub-committees in the colleges, as well as heads of departments and scientific branches, among others.
Representing the College of Political Science were Professor Dr. Hazem Hamad Musa, Head and Lecturer of the Department of International Relations, Professor Dr. Adnan Khalaf Hameed, Head of the Academic Promotions Committee, and Assistant Professor Mohammed Saleh Shateeb, Rapporteur of the Public Policy Department.
The workshop discussed the steps for launching the electronic system for academic promotions within the Ministry and Iraqi universities. It included a detailed explanation of the system, in addition to answering related inquiries.
This workshop falls within the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance the working mechanisms of the academic promotion committees in its colleges and research centers.
