College of Political Sciences

The Al-Bahr Al-Uloom Charity Foundation (Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf) has published the full proceedings book of the Ninth Annual Scientific Conference of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul, held under the title:
“Issues of Climate Change and Their Reflections on National and International Political Frameworks”.

The conference was organized in cooperation with the aforementioned foundation, as part of the growing interest in climate transformations and their interlinked effects on public policies at both the national and international levels. The conference witnessed broad participation from researchers and academics from inside and outside Iraq, who discussed major environmental and political challenges in light of global climate change.

The conference activities took place during the period 21–22 April 2024, and included specialized scientific sessions and intellectual workshops that addressed contemporary environmental issues and strategies for managing them within the frameworks of public policy and international governance.

This publication is considered an important scientific documentation that reflects the College’s commitment to contributing to the handling of strategic issues of global significance and strengthening the role of universities in supporting sustainable development.
