College of Political Sciences

Under the patronage and presence of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmood Al-Ibrahimi, along with the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Professor Dr. Muzahim Qasim Al-Khayyat, and the President of the University of Al-Hamdaniya, Professor Dr. Nashaat Mubarak, the University of Mosul organized a special ceremony to honor former college deans. The event took place on Sunday, 11 May 2025, and was attended by several members of the University Council, including the Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Sohaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie.

The speeches delivered during the ceremony underscored the University’s deep appreciation for the dedication and contributions of the honored individuals in advancing the academic and student mission of the institution. It was emphasized that this recognition is a token of gratitude for their significant contributions, which have played a vital role in enhancing the University’s academic and administrative stature.

In this context, the University Presidency announced the formation of an advisory committee composed of former deans, aiming to capitalize on their extensive experience in supporting future development strategies and strengthening the University’s institutional progress.
