Active Participation of the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, in the University’s Central Ceremony for Award Distribution to Winning Colleges in Student, Athletic, and Scouting Activities
Under the patronage and in the presence of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, along with several members of the University Council, the Department of Student Activities organized a central celebration to distribute awards to the top three colleges in student activities, which encompassed athletic, scouting, artistic, and volunteer work. The event was held on Monday, 12 May 2025.
The College of Political Science played a notable role in both the recognition and success of this ceremony. Dr. Omar Abdulaziz Al-Zaidi, Lecturer and Head of the Student Activities Division, was honored for leading the university’s delegation to Basrah Province and participating in the Al-Noor Quranic Competition. Additionally, Senior Chief Engineer Hasan Younis Abdullah, Head of the Media and Government Communication Division, was responsible for presenting the segments of the ceremony (Master of Ceremonies).
The activities were organized throughout the 2024–2025 academic year, reflecting a spirit of positive competition and reinforcing the university’s core values, thereby contributing to skill development and the cultivation of an active and creative student generation.
