Participation of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, in a Workshop Organized by the West Nineveh Operations Command on the Impact of Terrorist Organizations on Security

Assistant Professor Dr. Khairallah Subhan Al-Jubouri, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, participated in a workshop organized by the West Nineveh Operations Command, entitled: “The Impact of Terrorist Organizations on National Security and Approaches to Addressing It”, held on Tuesday, 13 May 2025.
The participation involved the presentation of a working paper that offered in-depth analytical insights into the challenges posed by terrorist organizations to national security. The paper also proposed a set of strategic solutions grounded in academic research and field-based expertise.
This contribution falls within the framework of joint cooperation between academic and security institutions aimed at enhancing societal stability and reinforcing the principles of national security. It underscores the College’s active role in addressing national issues, particularly those related to security and stability in the post-conflict phase.
The workshop was attended by the Commander of West Nineveh Operations, the Deputy Commander, the Chief of Staff, as well as a number of senior security and military officials. Among the attendees was also Assistant Lecturer Mezar Fares Al-Jarba, a faculty member in the Department of International Relations.
