Assistant Professor Dr. Ziyad Sameer Zaki and Assistant Lecturer Ghufran Younis Hussein Publish a Joint Scholarly Article on the Governance of Developmental Public Policies in a Globally Indexed Journal
A joint scholarly article authored by faculty members of the Public Policy Department at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul—Assistant Professor Dr. Ziyad Sameer Zaki and Assistant Lecturer Ghufran Younis Hussein—has been published under the title: “Governance of Developmental Public Policies in Confronting Emerging Climate Changes in the Arabian Gulf Region: The Case of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.” The study appeared in March 2025 in Dirasat: Human and Social Sciences, a journal indexed within the Scopus database.
The research aims to explore the governance of developmental public policies and their role in addressing the emerging climate changes currently affecting the region. These environmental changes carry the potential for catastrophic risks across multiple levels. The study also emphasizes the necessity of implementing these policies effectively to mitigate such threats.
