Assistant Chief Programmer Waseem Mowafaq Hayawi Attends a Specialized Workshop at the Presidency of the University of Mosul on the Management of the Ministerial Human Resources Management System (HRMS)

The University of Mosul has launched a series of specialized training courses aimed at enhancing the administrative and technical staff’s capacity to operate advanced electronic systems. The initial phase of this initiative was conducted from 11–12 May 2025, featuring a practical training workshop on the mechanisms of managing the Human Resources Management System (HRMS) as well as the Student Information System (SIS).
From the College of Political Science, Assistant Chief Programmer Waseem Mowafaq Hayawi participated in the workshop, given his responsibility for overseeing the aforementioned system.
The workshop included a comprehensive presentation on the HRMS, detailing its operational procedures and implementation guidelines. Participants were directed to form subcommittees within the university’s colleges and departments to expedite the system’s deployment. The process is to be finalized by 1 August 2025, in order to ensure integration with other forthcoming ministerial systems to be implemented across the university.
It is worth noting that these workshops are part of a broader strategic plan adopted by the University of Mosul to enhance human resource capabilities. This initiative aligns with contemporary trends in digital administration and aims to strengthen institutional performance and fulfill the requirements of sustainable development within the higher education sector.
