The Colleges of Political Science and Law at the University of Mosul Organize an Awareness Art Exhibition in Cooperation with the Public Aid Organization (PAO) in Nineveh to Highlight the Impact and Consequences of Domestic Violence
The President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, inaugurated the awareness art exhibition organized by the Colleges of Political Science and Law, in cooperation with the Public Aid Organization (PAO) in Nineveh, under the title: “Manifestations and Consequences of Domestic Violence on Society”, on Thursday, 29 May 2025.
The exhibition was supervised and attended by the Deans of the aforementioned colleges, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie and Professor Dr. Abdulaziz Ramadan Ali Al-Khattabi, as well as the Director of PAO, Mr. Ali Abdulghani, and the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Hamed Ibrahim Al-Rashidi.
The exhibition featured beautiful artworks created by a group of artists, as a sincere attempt to educate the public and raise awareness about the grave consequences of domestic violence. It also included ornamental plants display prepared by Assistant Legal Officer Wisan Faisal Fadhil, reflecting refined taste, artistic sensibility, and the vital role of women in enriching society with their talents and creative ideas.
The event witnessed notable attendance and engagement from faculty members, staff, and students of the university’s second campus.
