• Issue Zero of Al-Rafidain Journal for Political Science was launched in June 2025 under the supervision of the University of Mosul.

• The issue includes nine diverse scholarly articles in the field of political science.

• It was published electronically on the Iraqi Academic Journals platform with an accredited ISSN.

• The journal has been officially recognized for purposes of academic promotion since 11 September 2024.

• The Dean’s Office congratulates the editorial board and faculty members on this distinguished scientific achievement.

Under the supervision of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and with the follow-up of the Dean of the College of Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Sohaib Khalid Jasem Al-Taie, Issue Zero of Al-Rafidain Journal for Political Science was successfully launched in June 2025.

The issue includes the publication of nine academic articles covering various topics in political science, such as power transitions, the dilemma of integration, educational public policy, cyber warfare, and others.

The issue was published electronically and is officially available on the Iraqi Academic Journals website (affiliated with the Ministry) under the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN):

• 3006-7812 for the print version

• 3006-7820 for the electronic version

Thus, the journal is now officially recognized for academic promotions, with its accreditation dating back to 11 September 2024.

On this occasion, the Dean’s Office extends its sincere congratulations to the editorial board, the faculty members, and all academics and specialists in political science for opening this new scientific space and horizon—one that will contribute to advancing academic research, exchanging knowledge, and enhancing scientific output.
