A scientific research paper by Dr. Firas Mohammed Ahmed, Lecturer in the Department of International Relations at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, has been published in the Jordanian Journal of Politics and Society
The study, written in English, focuses on Iraqi-Syrian relations in the post-Assad era and appeared in the journal’s June 2025 issue, titled “Syria: A New Era.”
The research aims to analyze the future of bilateral relations between Iraq and Syria in light of possible regional and international changes during the current period. It emphasizes expected scenarios and identifies opportunities for cooperation as well as the political, security, and economic challenges that both countries may face.
