The Editor-in-Chief of Al-Rafidain Journal for Political Science Attends a Workshop Held by the University of Mosul’s Computer Center on the Mechanisms of Scientific Journals Operation through the OJS Platform
The Computer Center at the University of Mosul organized a workshop on Monday, 28 July 2025, to discuss the mechanisms of operating scientific journals using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. The workshop was attended by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulrahim Ibrahim Jassim, along with the editors-in-chief of the university’s academic journals.
Representing the College of Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Ziyad Sameer Zaki, the Editor-in-Chief of Al-Rafidain Journal for Political Science, took part in the workshop.
The workshop emphasized the importance of adopting the OJS platform and keeping up with its continuous updates and developments. It aimed to enhance the quality of scientific journals and help them achieve a higher impact factor, paving the way for inclusion in prestigious international scientific indexing databases.
