College of Political Sciences

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals — Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals — the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul launched a Professional Skills Development and Administrative Efficiency Enhancement Course on Tuesday, 26 August 2025, which will last for two days.

The first day included a lecture delivered by the Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Yaseen, titled “Duties of the Public Service Employee.” The lecture aimed to introduce the responsibilities of employees in government institutions, outline the legal and ethical foundations governing their work, and highlight mechanisms for performance development and the promotion of responsibility within the workplace.

The course is organized by the Continuing Education Unit, under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jasim Al-Tai, and targets the college’s administrative staff.
