The College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Holds a Workshop on Women and Labor Law

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals—, Goal 10, the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul organized a workshop on women and labor law on Sunday, 14 September 2025.

The workshop included a lecture delivered by Sajida Farhan Hussein, a lecturer from the Department of Public Policy.

The aim of the workshop was to shed light on the role of women in the labor market, the legal challenges they face, and the importance of providing a fair working environment that safeguards their rights and supports their active participation in community development.

The workshop falls within the framework of the Third National Action Plan for Women, Peace, and Security—Pillar of Participation and Institutional Reform.

It was held under the supervision of the Dean of the College, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit and the Women’s Affairs Unit at the University Presidency, and was attended by a group of female faculty members and staff.
