The College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Holds a Course on Artificial Intelligence: From Science Fiction to Revolutionary Reality

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal Four: Quality Education, and Goal Eight: Decent Work and Economic Growth, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, organized a course on Artificial Intelligence: From Science Fiction to Revolutionary Reality, held from 15 to 18 September 2025.

The course aimed to train the college staff to keep pace with the developments in today’s world, particularly regarding artificial intelligence and its positive and negative implications, leading to a well-informed culture capable of adapting to the digital world and information technology.

The course consisted of three lectures delivered by Assistant Lecturer Adi Nizar Muammar (Computer Center), Ms. Roua Hikmat Mahmoud (College of Law), and Assistant Lecturer Ahmad Yassin Muhammad from the Public Policy Department.

The course was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie, and was attended by dozens of the college’s faculty members and staff.
