College of Political Sciences

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, the Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie, met with first-year students coinciding with the start of the 2025–2026 academic year, on Sunday, 28 September 2025. The meeting was also attended by the Head of the International Relations Department, Professor Dr. Hazem Hamad Mousa.

The meeting falls within the College’s efforts to prepare students for the new academic year 2025–2026, familiarize them with general guidelines and university regulations, and encourage them to effectively manage and organize their time through serious preparation, serving their academic journey. The Deanship emphasized the importance of attending classes, participating in various scientific and cultural activities, and taking advantage of available resources to enhance their chances of success and excellence. During the meeting, students’ inputs and suggestions were heard to help overcome potential challenges and provide an academic environment that supports their future aspirations. Also among the attendees were the Department Secretary, Lecturer Dr. Rasha Suhail Mohammed, and the Head of the Media and Government Communication Division, Senior Engineer Hasan Younis Abdullah.
