College of Political Sciences

In implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal 4: Quality Education, the Council of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul held its third session for the academic year 2025–2026 on Monday, 6 October 2025.

The meeting discussed the report of the College’s Higher Education Fund Management Committee. It also approved the transfer of several students from the evening study program to the morning study program. In addition, the Council reviewed the requests of several postgraduate students regarding the postponement of the academic year with a reduction in tuition fees. The Council also approved the registration of a number of research projects by faculty members.

The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jasim Al-Tai, and attended by the Administrative Assistant Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Yaseen. Also in attendance were the Heads of the Departments of International Relations and Public Policy, Professor Dr. Hazim Hamad Musa and Professor Dr. Waleed Salem Mohammed, as well as the Council’s Rapporteur, Assistant Professor Dr. Younis Mueyyad Al-Dabbagh.
