 The College of Political Science has launched the visual program “A Talk in Political Science” with an interview featuring the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi

  • The program is prepared and produced under the supervision of the Dean of the College and its academic and media staff.

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals — Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, the Media and Government Communication Division of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul has begun implementing the visual program “A Talk in Political Science” on Tuesday, 14 October 2025.

The program includes a series of recorded video interviews with professors from the University and the College.

It began with an interview with Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, who welcomed and praised this innovative initiative.

The program aims to provide informative insights about political science, its connection with other academic disciplines, and its alignment with contemporary labor market demands.

It is organized under the supervision and guidance of the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sohaib Khalid Jasim Al-Taie, and prepared and presented by Dr. Firas Mohammed Ahmed Elias, Lecturer in the Department of International Relations, with coordination and technical production by Senior Chief Engineer Hasan Younis Abdullah, Head of the Media and Government Communication Division.
