The College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Holds an Introductory Workshop on the Importance of the English Language in Government Institutions
In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal 4: Quality Education, the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul held an introductory workshop on the importance of the English language in government institutions on Wednesday, 15 October 2025.
The workshop aimed to highlight the significance of mastering the English language in the work environment within state institutions, as it serves as the language of official communication and international correspondence, as well as a means to enhance professional competence and the ability to access global sources, particularly in the fields of administration, politics, and international relations.
The workshop consisted of a single lecture delivered by Assistant Lecturer Aseel Ghanem Abd from the Department of Public Policy.
The event was held under the supervision of the Dean of the College and attended by a number of the college’s academic and administrative staff.
