College of Political Sciences

In pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal Four: Quality Education, Goal Sixteen: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and Goal Seventeen: Partnerships for the Goals; the meeting was chaired by the Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Sohaib Khalid Jasim Al-Taie, on Tuesday, 21 October 2025. The meeting was attended by the scientific and administrative assistants, Assistant Professors Khairallah Sabhan Al-Jubouri and Ali Hussein Yassin, as well as the heads of the two scientific branches.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the mechanism for implementing the academic and administrative plan for the 2025–2026 academic year and to set plans that ensure the enhancement of academic and administrative performance in the college. The participants also addressed the importance of coordinating efforts between the two scientific branches and administrative units to ensure the smooth flow of the educational and research process, as well as providing an academic environment that fosters creativity and excellence. Emphasis was placed on adhering to university regulations and ministry instructions, ensuring the quality of education and its outcomes, attending to student affairs and monitoring their academic and service requirements, in addition to encouraging faculty members to develop their research skills and participate in scientific activities inside and outside the university.
