The College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Holds a Guidance Workshop on Security Strategies in Combating Intellectual Terrorism
In realization of the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal Sixteen: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions; the University Psychological Counseling Unit of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul organized a guidance workshop titled “National Security Strategies in Combating Intellectual Terrorism”, on Wednesday, 29 October 2025.
The workshop discussed the dual roles of international cooperation and educational institutions in supporting national security strategies and combating intellectual terrorism to enhance national security, with reference to the concept of the securitization of education in this context.
The workshop included three research papers presented by Lecturer Dr. Ali Bashar Bakr, Lecturer Dr. Kawther Hassan Ghazi, and Lecturer Ahmed Faisal Ali.
The workshop was held under the supervision of the Dean of the College, in cooperation with the two academic departments and the Continuing Education Unit, and it targeted the student audience.
