The Deanship of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul holds a qualitative meeting with the college’s female faculty members and staff
In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal Five: Gender Equality, and Goal Sixteen: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions; the Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jasim Al-Taie, chaired a qualitative meeting with the college’s female faculty members and staff on Wednesday, 5 November 2025. The Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Yassin, also attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed the needs of the female faculty members and staff and ways to overcome the obstacles they face in the work environment, while reviewing the current administrative instructions and frameworks that support women’s rights and empower female staff in the college. The participants also addressed practical measures to enhance women’s participation in academic and administrative activities and to ensure a fair and safe work environment for all female affiliates.
