College of Political Sciences

In line with Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, the Council of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul held its fifth session for the 2025–2026 academic year on Thursday, 20 November 2025.

The Council reviewed the minutes of the University Council’s third open session, including its instructions, directives, and decisions. The renaming of the Public Policy Department was also discussed. In academic affairs, several faculty research projects were officially registered, and a number of student requests were reviewed.

The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jasim Al-Tai, and attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Khairallah Sabehan Al-Jubouri, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Yaseen. Also in attendance were the Heads of the Departments of International Relations and Public Policy, Professor Dr. Hazem Hamad Mousa and Professor Dr. Waleed Salem Mohammed, the Representative of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate – Nineveh Branch, Professor Dr. Adnan Khalaf Al-Badarani, as well as the Council’s Rapporteur, Assistant Professor Dr. Younis Moayad Al-Dabbagh.
