The College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Launches a Developmental English Language Course Targeting Administrative Staff
In alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals — Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth — and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, the College of Political Science has launched a developmental English language course starting on Sunday, 23 November 2025, lasting for three weeks.
The course includes three levels designed to cover all aspects of the language, such as fundamentals, listening and comprehension, and expression and conversation. It is delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Tareq Mohammed Thannon, Assistant Lecturer Ayl Ghanem Abd, and Assistant Lecturer Ammar Ahmed Rasheed.
The course is held under the supervision of the Dean of the College and targets the administrative staff of various academic and administrative units.
