College of Political Sciences

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals—Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and Goal 17: Partnerships to Achieve the Goals—and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit at the University of Mosul Presidency, the unit conducted a distinguished visit to the College of Political Science on Sunday, 30 November 2025. They were received by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jasim Al-Taie, and the Scientific Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Khair Allah Sibhan Al-Jubouri.

The visit aimed to strengthen the work of the aforementioned department by following up on the implementation of annual plans linked to the Sustainable Development Goals and discussing ways to develop performance and improve institutional work quality, contributing to enhancing the university’s standing in global rankings. During the visit, the most prominent activities of the college were reviewed and linked to the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as the mechanisms for documenting and publicizing them. The confident steps taken by the college and its alignment in work—from the Dean’s Office, through the Department of Studies and Planning, to the Department of Media and Government Communication—were highly praised, supporting the United Nations agenda in this context. The meeting was also attended by the heads of the aforementioned departments, in addition to the college liaison officer.
