The Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Political Science – University of Mosul Holds a Training Workshop on How to Pass the Foreign Service Institute Examinations

In fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals — Goal 4: Quality Education and Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth — and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit (at the Presidency of the University of Mosul) and the Continuing Education Unit (at the College of Political Science), the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit held a training workshop entitled: “Developing the Skills of Students and Graduates of the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, to Pass the Foreign Service Institute Examinations,” on Monday, 1 December 2025.

The training program included applied themes and specialized discussions focusing on empowering participants to acquire practical skills consistent with the requirements of diplomatic work.

The workshop aimed to enhance the readiness of students and graduates by developing their analytical, linguistic, and interview skills, in addition to explaining the nature of the Foreign Service Institute examinations and the requirements for passing them.

The workshop was delivered by the Unit Officer, Lecturer Dr. Ali Bashar Bakr, along with Lecturer Dr. Kawthar Hassan Ghazi, Assistant Lecturer Maizar Faris Dhiab, Assistant Lecturer Abdulkarim Zuhair Atiyah, Assistant Lecturer Naba’ Ezzaldeen Mohammed, Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Akram Jamil, and Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Mohsin.

The workshop was held under the supervision of the Dean of the College. The Unit continues to implement similar training programs in support of students and graduates alike in their academic, cognitive, and professional pathways.
