Lecturer Basma Mohammed Nadhir organized a student awareness exhibition on environmental health, held at the College of Environmental Sciences, University of Mosul
In line with the Sustainable Development Goals: Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being; Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities; Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production; Goal 13: Climate Action; and Goal 15: Life on Land. In cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, the lecturer from the Department of International Relations at the College of Political Science organized the student awareness exhibition entitled: “The Iraqi Environment: A Law that Protects and Awareness that Builds.” The exhibition was held on Wednesday, 3 December 2025, at the College of Environmental Sciences.
The exhibition featured displays of panels highlighting the most important legislation and legal regulations related to environmental health, along with awareness posters emphasizing the importance of preserving the Iraqi environment, posters on the risks of waste to the Iraqi environment, as well as a special corner for natural plants to encourage a green university environment.
It is worth noting that the aforementioned lecturer teaches the course “Environmental Health Legislation” to third-year students at the said college. We extend our best wishes for continued excellence and success to all teaching staff, scientifically, academically, and intellectually.
