College of Political Sciences

In pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals—Goal Four: Quality Education, and Goal Eight: Decent Work and Economic Growth—and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit (at the Presidency of the University of Mosul), the English Language Development Course at the College of Political Science concluded successfully on Wednesday, 17 December 2025.

The three-week course covered topics related to comprehension, conversation, and expression, focusing on developing listening skills and reading comprehension, enhancing the ability to speak confidently and fluently, refining writing skills and the clear expression of ideas, and strengthening vocabulary and grammatical structures necessary for academic and professional communication.

The course was held under the supervision of the Dean of the College and was delivered in rotation by Assistant Professor Dr. Tareq Mohammed Zannoun, Lecturer Ammar Ahmed Rashid, and Assistant Lecturer Aseel Ghanem Abd. It targeted the administrative staff of the divisions and units.
