College of Political Science, University of Mosul, Receives the Nineveh Governorate Elections Office and Provides Available Books and Research on Electoral, Political, and Legal Affairs

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals—Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions—and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, the Dean of the College of Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie, received a delegation representing the Nineveh Governorate Elections Office affiliated with the Independent High Electoral Commission, on Monday, 5 January 2026, in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Khairallah Subhan Al-Jubouri.

The visit aimed to enhance prospects for scientific and knowledge-based cooperation between the two sides. The College’s Deanship commended the efforts of the Commission and the Nineveh Elections Office in consolidating the democratic process and promoting electoral awareness. Meanwhile, the College provided the visiting delegation with the available specialized books and scientific research in electoral, political, and legal affairs, in support of institutional work and as an affirmation of the University’s role in serving society and its national institutions.
