College of Political Sciences

The Department of International Relations at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, held an advisory meeting on Sunday, 2 February 2025.

The meeting included a lecture titled “The Risks of Irregular Migration on Individuals,” delivered by Assistant Professor Jasim Mohammed Taha, a faculty member of the department. The lecture reviewed the various dimensions of irregular migration, focusing on the causes and motives that drive individuals to make the decision to migrate illegally, such as harsh economic conditions, armed conflicts, and the deterioration of security and political situations in certain regions.

The event was held under the auspices of the Dean of the College and targeted fourth-year students as part of a series of educational activities organized by the department to enhance students’ awareness of contemporary issues that have a direct impact on both societies and individuals.
