The College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Holds a Student Panel Discussion on the Role of Artificial Intelligence in Developing Education

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal Four: Quality Education, and Goal Nine: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure; the University Psychological Counseling Unit at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, held its panel discussion titled “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Developing Education” on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, delivered by Assistant Lecturer Omnia Ibrahim Khalil from the International Relations Department.
The panel aimed to shed light on the role of artificial intelligence technologies in supporting and advancing the educational process by presenting the most significant recent applications in higher education, and the mechanisms of employing them to enhance students’ skills, develop the learning environment, and facilitate access to knowledge in innovative and effective ways.
The session was held under the supervision of the Dean of the College, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit at the University Presidency, as well as the two academic departments, the Studies and Planning Unit, and the Continuing Education Unit at the college; and it targeted the student body.
