Based on the directives of the Presidency of the University of Mosul, represented by Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, and the members of the University Council, on the importance of community interaction and communication, and in accordance with the plans of the Deanship of our college, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College, and the members of the College Council, working to spread the legal culture among the segments of society. And its various segments, in addition to communication and interaction with state departments and institutions, a community study has been completed entitled Human Skills among Community Police Members in Dealing with the Crime of Electronic Extortion, presented by Dr. Zeina Zuhair Muhammad Sheet / Human Rights Law Branch, Dr. Muhammad Sami Younis, and Dr. Ali Muhammad Reda / The public law branch, which was submitted to the Community Police Department/Community Police Division in Nineveh Governorate, where the study dealt with the concept of the crime of electronic extortion, its elements, and the penalty legally prescribed for it in accordance with the provisions of the Iraqi Penal Code. The study also touched on the concept of human skills and their types, in addition to addressing the meaning of community policing, its concept, and the date of its establishment. And its goals, tasks and duties. The study concluded with a set of proposals directed to the relevant authorities. This study comes within a series of community studies presented by our college professors and teachers to state departments and institutions in addition to civil society organizations aimed at introducing and raising awareness of the dangers of new phenomena and crimes that have emerged as a result of scientific development and progress. Technology has produced cases that may rise to the level of crimes, which requires the intervention of the legislator in this regard, in addition to the importance of activating the role of government regulatory agencies and educational institutions, in addition to the family, which bears the main burden of sound upbringing and education based on solid foundations, and the role of this in preserving the safety of society and the security of its members.
