Dr. Alia Ghazi Taher and Dr. Ahmed Faris Idris, a faculty member at the College of Law at the University of Mosul, participated on Thursday, August 29, 2024, in the work of the workshop that dealt with the Iraqi Labor Law and the challenges facing its application in Nineveh Governorate, which was held by the Information Center for Research and Development. The College of Law contributes within the framework of managing this workshop by presenting its lecturers with working papers to shed light on the Iraqi Labor Law No. 37 of 2015 as well as the Social Security Law and stating the most important challenges facing the workers in Nineveh Governorate, with a statement of the most important legal solutions in applying the above law. This participation comes within the framework of the Deanship of the College’s keenness to motivate its members to participate in the scientific and cultural activities held by colleges, universities, national, regional and international scientific bodies and institutions, which contributes to developing cognitive capabilities and reviewing scientific developments in the field of specialized studies related to the various branches of law and contributing to transferring scientific and legal expertise to provide the best results through various working papers and stating the necessary legal vision for that.
