On Sunday, March 27, 2022, Dr. Bushra Khaled Turki, head of the Women Empowerment Committee at the College of Law at the University of Mosul, and Dr. Alia Ghazi Taher, a member of the Women’s Empowerment Committee at the same college, participated in the meeting held by the Women’s Empowerment Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, and a number of issues were discussed. on the agenda

It is worth noting that the Human Rights Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul has previously held a scientific symposium on women’s empowerment, in which it addressed a number of issues related to women’s activism and behavior at the societal level, in addition to addressing the rights and obligations of women sanctioned by internal legislation and international charters and agreements related to women’s activism. Note that our college strives to establish community activities and events, while providing studies and making recommendations for all that reflects positively on the community and its main pillars
