The College of Veterinary Medicine – Department of Veterinary Public Health, in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit, organized a training course entitled “Excel Functions for Organizing Scientific Research Data”, held from 19–21 May 2026.

The course aims to:
- Introduce participants to the most important Excel functions used in organizing and analyzing scientific research data.
- Develop skills in accurate and well‑structured data entry and arrangement.
- Train participants on using statistical and logical functions for processing research data.
- Teach methods of data cleaning, error detection, and correction prior to statistical analysis.
- Enhance skills in creating professional scientific tables and reports.
- Enable participants to use sorting and filtering tools to facilitate the management of large datasets.
- Strengthen the ability to present research results using charts and graphs in Excel.
- Improve the efficiency of researchers and students in handling data in ways that support research quality and the accuracy of results.
This course falls within the College of Veterinary Medicine’s efforts to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions).
