Master’s Thesis Defense
A Master’s thesis defense was held at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Surgery and Theriogenology, for the thesis entitled “Investigation of Oviduct Disorders with Endometritis Using Different Techniques in Buffalo”, presented by Zaid Mohammed Hussein under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdulilah Aziz and Prof. Dr. Ammar Ghanim Mohammed, on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

The study aimed to clinically diagnose oviduct lesions, including hydrosalpinx and salpingitis, using ultrasonography, and to investigate their association with endometritis. The study also employed histopathological examinations and immunohistochemical expression analysis of CD45RO and Fibroblast Growth Factor (FGF) in the oviducts and uteri of Iraqi buffalo females experiencing repeat estrus.
Following the student’s confident and scientifically rigorous defense of his thesis and the committee’s discussion and evaluation, the thesis was accepted.
