College of Veterinary Medicine

Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dhafer Mohammed Aziz, Dean of the College, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Raad Abdulghani Basheer, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, alongside a number of faculty members, veterinarians, and students, the College’s Unit for Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up organized a workshop on Sunday, April 13, 2025, titled:
“Artificial Intelligence and Its Applications in Veterinary Medicine.”

The workshop was delivered by Dr. Omar Sadiq Al-Kutbi from the United Arab Emirates, who presented the latest available AI applications and discussed their potential deployment in veterinary medicine, particularly in the fields of diagnosis and treatment.

The workshop received great interaction from attendees due to its valuable and up-to-date information, reflecting the rapid advancements in AI and its role in enhancing veterinary practices.

At the conclusion of the workshop, Prof. Dr. Dhafer Mohammed Aziz, Dean of the College, presented a certificate of appreciation to Dr. Omar Sadiq Al-Kutbi in recognition of his valuable efforts in making the workshop successful and his distinguished contributions to the scientific activities organized by the College.
