Several patents for college members:
1- A patent was registered for Professor Dr. Hanaa Khalil Ismail, Department of Diseases and Poultry Diseases, who obtained a patent from the Ministry of Planning/Central Agency for Standardization and Quality Control for the invention “Preparation of an alternative dye to eosin from sumac seed extract for staining animal tissues.” To learn more, Click Here.
2- A patent was registered for both Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Salah Nasser and Assistant Professor Dr. Yasser Muhammad Amin, a lecturer at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Physiology, Biochemistry, and Pharmacology, Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control, titled “Design of a Pressure Measurement Device for Mechanical Pain Thresholds in Chicks.” For more information, click here.
3. Registering a patent for Professor Dr. Fouad Qasim Muhammad, an experienced professor, on the occasion of his research team obtaining a patent entitled “A Simple Colorimetric Method for Measuring Chlorpromazine Concentrations in Injectable Pharmaceuticals.” For more information, click here.
4. Registering a patent for Professor Dr. Aqeel Muhammad Sharif, a lecturer at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Veterinary Public Health, Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control, along with professors from the College of Science and the College of Environmental Sciences and Technologies. “The invention includes the preparation of a cheap and safe alternative to liquid nitrogen in the process of extracting deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) from cells and tissues.” For more information, click here.
