The Main Principles and Concepts of the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit

“Our Youth: The Icon of Existence Toward Building the Nation and the Future”

As part of the activities of the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine, the unit coordinator, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ghassan Saeed, conducted a workshop titled:
“The Main Principles and Concepts of the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit”,
for fifth-year students on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, with the distinguished presence of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Dhafer Aziz.

The workshop addressed the role of Career Development Centers (CDCs) and university employment units in guiding students, developing their skills and abilities, and preparing them for integration into the job market after graduation by connecting them with employers.

Topics also included how to define:

  • Vision, mission, and goals

  • Core values

  • The importance of making informed professional decisions

  • Building a portfolio of essential and acquired skills

👏 The relentless efforts of the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine are truly commendable, as they lay the foundation for equipping our dear students with the tools and mindset necessary to secure job opportunities in the Iraqi labor market.
