Workshop on Illegal Immigration (Death Boats and Dark Illusions)
Based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and the Presidency of the University of Mosul, the Media and Government Communication Division at the College of Veterinary Medicine, under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College, held a workshop on Illegal Immigration on Wednesday, February 21, 2024.
The workshop was inaugurated by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Raad Abdul Ghani, who introduced the session as an awareness workshop dedicated to the students of the College of Veterinary Medicine. The workshop covered the causes leading to illegal immigration, especially within Iraqi society, the fate of those who undertake this step, and the resulting consequences. Numerous examples of illegal immigration, its causes, and its severe outcomes were presented. Students also participated by distributing awareness posters on the dangers of illegal immigration.
